Meet Syed Naqvi
My name is Syed Naqvi, and I am proud to call Milton home. I have lived in Milton for over 12 years and have seen our community grow and change.
I have a professional background in engineering and am connected to the architectural industry. My experience has given me a practical understanding of community planning and infrastructure.
Outside of my professional life, I am energetic and active. I love sports and enjoy cricket, golf, hiking, and jogging.
Milton is my home. I care deeply about our community and its future.
Why I Am running for Regional Councillor - Ward 2Â
I am running for Regional Councillor for Ward 2 because I believe Milton deserves better.
As a long-time Milton resident, I have watched our town grow rapidly to approximately 165,000 people. However, healthcare, transportation, infrastructure, and community safety have not kept pace with this growth.
Healthcare is personal to me. My wife and I have been sent outside Milton for medical tests and services not available locally. A growing community like ours deserves better access to healthcare.
Traffic congestion is increasing, public transit does not effectively reach some areas, and snow clearing remains inconsistent. Community safety is also a growing concern.
I am energetic, committed, and ready to work hard for the people of Ward 2 with accountability and transparency.
